Pre-Employment Tests - Business Week

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS WEEK MAGZINE ARTICLE

Pre-employment tests should have been included in the "Hiring Is Hard Work" article by Jack Welch in BusinessWeek magazine on July 7, 2008.

Jack Welch’s article revealed how hiring managers get fooled by charming job applicants who have possibly useful work experiences.  That explains why most job interviewers make lousy hiring evaluations about an applicant's potential success or failure.

Research proves pre-employment tests give the most accurate prediction of how an applicant will perform on-the-job.  As an added bonus, pre-employment assessments or tests are customizable, and have built-in lie detectors to catch lying applicants.

Hiring managers use employment tests to accurately predict job performance.  In addition to tests, hiring managers also should interview job applicants to assess fit into the corporate culture and verbal skills.
